Corneal topography

It is a computerized Video-Keratometer, that maps the surface of your cornea. What this map reveals is the topography, or shape of the corneal surface. The Corneal Topography assist in contact lens fitting, refractive surgery, orthokeratology and general assessment of the cornea. Corneal maps can also detect changes in corneal shape from office visit to office visit, which is extremely helpful in keratoconus. Maps can even be sent over the Internet to contact lens manufacturers who are customizing lenses, or to other doctors for second opinions.It supports many important optometric applications, including contact lens fitting, pathology detection and management.
